Location

At The Bridge you’ll be in the heart of Camden. Our home is Cecil Sharp House, an impressive Grade II listed building near Regent's Park and only minutes from Camden Town tube. It has spacious rehearsal rooms with sprung wooden floors, a concert hall, library, licensed bar, cafeteria and walled garden. You’ll be walking distance from Camden Lock and the whole mark et area. You’ll be right in the middle of Camden’s bars, restaurants, shops, theatre and music venues. The Camden Fringe festival is on your doorstep and the Jazz Café, Koko and Electric Ballroom are right here.

Directions to The Bridge from Camden Town Underground Station

As you come up the escalator from the underground turn right to leave the station.

Cross over Camden High Street and turn left. Walk for approx 10 metres and then turn right up Parkway. Stay on the right hand side. You should see The Jazz Café on the other side of the road and Starbucks and the Odeon Cinema on the right hand side.

Keep walking up the right hand side Parkway, crossing over the traffic lights at Arlington Road, for approx 300 metres until you reach the next set of traffic lights.

In front of you is North Bridge School – not us so don’t go there! Instead turn right, around a glass walled building until you reach a road called Oval Road.

Cross over Oval Road, don’t go down it.

You are now on Gloucester Avenue, following the route of the 274 bus. Keep walking along Gloucester Avenue, past a bus stop, until you reach the next junction, a fork in the road.

Right ahead of you is Cecil Sharp House, a red brick building with “The English Dance and Song Society” in big letters on it.

Cross over the zebra crossing and turn right.

Walk around the building until you get to a red post box.

Turn left into the car park area and go up to the steps leading up to the entrance. If you are coming for an audition one of our current students or staff will meet you there.

If you are late go past the reception desk, through the glass door, and down the stairs, past The Bridge Office and through the doors into the canteen area.

Your audition will be in one of the two rooms leading off the canteen. A notice will be on the rehearsal room door. Please come in.
